Mission

Our mission is to make the tastiest chocolate in the Netherlands, with a positive effect on the environment and society. With this, we want to be an example for other artisanal family businesses.

As a company, we believe it is our responsibility to put sustainability first. We strive to create a world where we can enjoy delicious products while protecting the environment and actively contributing to the well-being of others. We do this by, among other things:

We are proud to source our organically certified chocolate from the Grupo Conacado Cooperatie in the Dominican Republic. Through this partnership, we support sustainable agricultural practices and help improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities. All of our animal ingredients and nuts are also certified organic.

 

 

We are aware of the impact of packaging on the environment and are determined to minimize this impact. We try to minimize plastic use and, as much as possible, offer single-material packaging to make it easier to recycle. Cardboard and paper that does not come into direct contact with the chocolate is made from recycled material.

We believe in creating opportunities and supporting communities. That's why we work with workshops that give people who are distanced from the labor market a chance. We offer interns a learning and supervised experience. In addition, we are proud of our partnership with JINC, offering lightning internships to young people with fewer opportunities. We also support the Surfkids Shredding Senegal surf team in Dakar, which empowers young people to pursue their passions and develop skills. To use as much renewable energy as possible in our production process, we have installed 73 solar panels with a capacity of 29,000 watt peak on our roof of our production facility in Schiedam. When the sun shines, this is more than we can consume.
